30 Day Shred – Day 5

Today marks my fifth day of doing the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred fitness DVD. I’ve done it every single day starting Monday and I’m already feeling a difference.

So far, I’ve lost 2 pounds. Nice! I haven’t measured myself yet. I’m leaving that for the very end of the 30 days to see how much I’ve shrunk.

Here’s a little summary of my days with the shred:

Starting the 30 Day Shred

You may have heard of Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred. It seems pretty famous on the internet, even though it’s been out for years. The workout DVD is known all over the web for giving people real fitness and weight loss results while wearing them out.

Since I’m intent to lose weight, gain muscle and get healthy, I thought I’d take the challenge.

Forgive Yourself

In most cases, when someone falls off the wagon, they stay off. They feel like such a failure that they [...]

Keep a Motivation Board

Having trouble staying motivated? It happens to the best of us.
One way I’ve found to stay on track is to create a Motivation Board.
What you need:

A white board – the bigger, the better.
Dry erase markers, preferably in several colors.
Magnets

You can put anything you want on your board as long as it keeps you motivated. This [...]
